Celia M.

MS, CCC-SLP

Founder/ Owner

SPEAKeasy Therapies & Fitness, LLC is owned by Celia Montes, a nationally certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist.


Celia attended the Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville and graduated with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication Disorders in 2008. During her professional career, Celia has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She also has gained experience working as a speech-language pathologist in various settings: skilled nursing, rehab, acute care, home health, independent living, assisted living, and in homes. 


She has focused her clinical skills on treating individuals with Parkinson’s. Celia is an Ambassador for the Parkinson’s Association. Celia is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri in addition to her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Certifications and training include Vital Stim, LSVT, SPEAK OUT! and Certified Rock Steady Clinician.

Megan B.

MA, CCC-SLP

Director of Speech Therapy

Megan B, is a nationally certified and state-licensed Speech Language Pathologist.


Megan attended the University of Toledo and graduated with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a Minor in Counseling. Megan has gained experience with geriatric, adult, and pediatric populations with a variety of disorders. She has worked in settings including rehab, acute care, psychiatric care, outpatient clinics, assisted living, independent living, schools, and in-home health care. 


Megan is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment LOUD (LSVT), SPEAK OUT!, Certified Rock Steady Clinician, and Vital Stim/NMES. She is licensed in Missouri and holds her Certification of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.

Megan A.

MOT, OTR/L, SHSS

Director of Occupational Therapy

Megan A, a nationally certified and state-licensed Occupational Therapist. Megan attended Maryville University in St. Louis and graduated with a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2014.  Megan has 9 years of experience working with the geriatric population living in independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities providing home health and outpatient services. Megan has used her comprehensive skill set as an occupational therapist to treat several diagnoses and to provide support for families and caregivers. Whether it's attending a community dance event or making a dessert for a granddaughter’s baptism, Megan incorporates meaningful interventions to meet her client’s personal goals.


Megan is excited to be on the SPEAKeasy team to now be able to provide services to help community-dwelling adults “age in place”. Megan’s occupational therapy experience with low vision interventions, fall prevention, dementia training, wheelchair evaluations, assistive technology, and home safety assessments work together to allow Megan to fulfill her passion as an OT to help older adults remain in their homes.


Megan is licensed in Missouri and Illinois and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, AOTA. Megan is also certified as a Senior Home Safety Specialist, SHSS from Age Safe America, and Certified LSVT BIG Clinician.

Maggie P.

MOT, OTR/L

Certified Occupational Therapist

Maggie P, a nationally certified and state-licensed Occupational Therapist.


Maggie attended Maryville University in St. Louis and graduated with a master’s degree in occupational therapy in 2019.


Maggie also has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Maryville University from 2016.


Maggie has experience working with the adult and geriatric populations with a variety of disorders and diagnoses such as stroke, debility, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, brain injury, and a variety of other conditions.


She has 4 years of experience working in the inpatient rehab setting where she assisted patients and their families with safe return home from the hospital. Maggie has other clinical experiences in acute care and outpatient as well.


Maggie is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) BIG program and is licensed in Missouri and is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association, AOTA.
